When we arrived back in Vancouver, the red and orange leaves were still in the trees. On Monday morning the wind came through and the pretty trees are almost bare. When the clouds cleared somewhat, fresh snow greeted us on the mountains. It won’t be long and BC ski season will start! We both can’t wait but we are doing a side trip to Mexico and now Belize (think Rob Sitch and Tom Gleisner fly fishing for bone-fish in warm turquoise water in A River Somewhere – it’s going to be tops!) and Guatemala via the Western US. It should be tough, but Tan needs the sun!!
Lunch yesterday was at another Japanese sushi train. This time they had wooden boats floating around with three meals per boat. It’s mesmerizing watching all that food go round and cheap too!
